Weekly Challendge at CPS

Here is my card for the weekly challenge at CPS, please forgive my spelling I know it is not the best. I had a really busy day to day at work. When I get home there is alot to do. Cooking Cleaning and before I know it it is time to go to bed. For this card I use mellow moss, basic grey paper adteck glue runner nestability dies flower rub ons and metal tag. Enjoy Susan

Sunday Night

Well itis Sunday nite and the Cowboys are playing the Bears. hubby is in the room watching the game and I have been working on cards. I got all my cards created for club Friday nite. I also created 2 for gueststar stamper over at papertrey ink. Here they are. The stamp set are the new release Believe. paper is white su card stock onthe tree it is embossed and glitter used and brocade blue ink for the snowflakes. 2nd card is su white card stock santa is colored with red ink and white liquid applique star is purely pomegranite and snowflakes are blue brocade. Using chipboard in your card design

Over at Caardvards they are having a contest using chipboard. So here is my take on it. I hope yall like it. During the week I really don't have much time between working all day and takin care of Damian who is 6 and autistic, plus cooking supper for us I stay pretty busy. The star is from stamping up , the stamp u is from stamping up all about u , black ribbon is some I had laying around the house paper is from basic grey. enjoy Susan

Contest at Cps

There is a contest going on over at CPS. You can choose from 4 options, postcard, travel, Christmas in July and patriotic. So here is my take on the patriotic card. The patriotic card is 5.25 by 4.5 whsiper white card stock covered in 4th of july paper squares punched on white cardstock and 4th of july stamps used, white sq cardstock is mounted on red cardstock and outline with red gingham ribbon. Crystal stickles added for shimmer. You relly cant see the shimmer in the picture but its real pretty in person. Enjoy Susan

No cards today

I Have no cards to post today, sorry. they are all stamped I just need to put them together thats all. My husband is outside mowing and my athma is to bad to een try to mow today. My grandson keeps hollering Granny and I sometimes wonder why does he holler for granny is it because he is too lazy to do for himself or what.the weather is nice out today. I wish the weekends were longer though. monday comes around to fast. Yall have a nice sunday. cowboys play today at miami. Susan

Micro mini cards

Today has been a day. My husband and nephew went to the lake and road around in the boat for awhile today. It is always so quite when he is not home. When they got back my nephew cooked supper for us and my husband father and my mom came down and ate. They are all gone. I got my quilt block finshed and nowI am ready to post the cards. Ihave been trying to do to this all day. My oldest daughter fell and broke her foot in 3 places last week end. She is able to get around some today. She does not like people waiting on her, not even her husband. I hope yall like the cards they are micro mini cards. Susan

Thank god it is Friday

I am so glad today is Friday. Which means I can work on some cards to be posted later. I also quilt and I have my new block of the month kit I need to start. Yesterday at work I demostrated how to sew a pumkin on my sewing embrodiery machine. The residents loved it. I think the next demostration I have will BE making cards. Damian my grandson is in his room watching power rangers. Well everyone have a great Friday nite. High school football starts tonite.

Birthday card for friend

I made this card awhile back for my friends birhtday . I for got the particulars. Her birthday is not until November but there is alot of birthdays and so I have to stay ahead. Thursday is my bosses last day at work. She heads off to anew job. we all have worked with her for 10 years. She is like our mother at work. i will miss her. Yesterday I went to the dentsit and had a root canel and 2 cavities filled. Today I took my grandson to the dentist,he had no cavities. i am glad. I hope yall like the cards. have a good rest of the afternoon.

Christmas Card for my Friend

Christmas Card for my Friend Good morning, everyone. it is hot here in Wylie, Texas. I made this card for my friend at work, she wants 12. I have 2 made 10 to go. My grandsons are up and playing the game cube, Sean my oldest grandson is in from Houston visiting, he is 13. My 6 year old grandson who I have custody of has been recently diagnosed with Autism, so we are learning all about that disorder. He is also addhd. Grandkids are so much fun. We have 5 all together 4 boys and 1 girl. They are all suppose to be her later on today. The card is made with very vanilla cardstock brocade ble, stamped with my MFT Christmas stamps. ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, colered with spica glitter markers and prisma markers. Also use su snow flourishers for the background and on the blue brocade is ran thru my sizzix die cutter using my embossing plate snow flakes from provocraft. I think that is everything.
