Flowers, I love them. Justrite is sponsering a sketch over at 2 sketches for4 you. So i decided to play along. I used the borders and centers Autumn Blessing set. I fell in love with this set when I saw it. I use stampin up whisper white, my cuttlebug embossing folder the one with the diamonds on it. Stamped my image in black and colored with my stampin up markers. Used my oval nesties to cut out. I used paper from basic Greys Sultey pad and used the top notes die from stampin up. I have not blogged in a long time. This morning we were rattled out of bed, by a thunderstorm here in good ole Wylie, Texas This week we have had alot of rain, which is unusal for July. The temperture was a blamey 87 degrees, but alas the weather gets up in 100's by next week and the rain goes a way. Welcome to August in Texas. I hope you enjoy the card. My first card is for Fresh and Fun. All card stock is su, Dp is from Micheals I used my new paisley embossing folder on top of the new cardstock from Basic grey there Valentine paper and on top of that I used white cardstock. The flowers are cut out and mounted to the white cardstock. Setiment is from papertreyinks new stampset everyday blessings. 2nd card is for I heart to stamp. All cardstock is su and The flourish is from some I bought from oreientaltrading awhile back. Flowers are from target and flower brad is from Micheals. Saying is from some inspirational stickers I got from oriental trading. 3rd card is for My time. All cardtock is su dp is bali breezes from su. Bling flowers are from Target 1.00 spot and The big flower is from some flower embellishment I got at Target. The butterfly is from Spellbinders, I embossed it in to metal and then cut it out and used rangers airadoniks ink on it, and mounted it with dimensinals. 4th card is for No time to stamp,alll carstock is from su and flourish is from oriental trading cross is stamped in gold ink on dp. The cross and saying are form papertreyinks new stampset everyday blessings. The ribbon has a meatl embellishment thats says blessings and i used some brads on the side. 5h card is for Taylored expressions. All cardstock is su, the dp is sorry to say I forgot it came in a package of pieces. Ribbon and sentiment is from oriental trading. The teapot is stamped and cut out and glued on the cardstock I added glitter to it to give it some bling. Eyelet are form su. Stamp from Hobby Lobby. I am working on my nieces quilt for graduation in may of this year. I have had the blocks made for a year. I gonna get all together hopefully these next 2 days so I can start quilting it. My mom is also having all her windows replaced in her house and I have been going back and forth helping out there getting stuff back where it goes and the curtains back up. Now I think she has saved everythin anyone has ever given her because she has alot of stuff. Wall to wall furniture china paintingstuffquitling stuff you name it. She lives in a 4 bedroon house 3 bath formal dining and living. Its all full. She won't sell and move either since my dad died she stays down there The house sits on an acreof land. I combine several sketches in 2 cards as I am running out of storage. My first card is for these 3 friday sketches.They are fresh and Fun No Time to Stamp and Heartfelt greetting. The dp is some I bought at hobby lobby on friday everything else is su except for the ribbon and flower bling I did stamp my flower and then colored with my glitter markers from oriental trading. I used my nestibility reg die on the dp. 2nd card is for My time taylored expression and I heart to stamp. All card stock is su , I used my paisley embossing folder for one piece of card stock, Ribbon is from oriental trading. flowers are some i got somewhere just don't remember. Tulip dp is from hobby lobby. Sentiment is from mixed messages from Papertreyink. cupcake stamp is from hobby lobby. I colored with glitter markers. 3rd card is for caarvarks annivesary sketch, I made this for my Dh as we will be married 35 years March 4th, Digi paper is from MFTs cardstock su. I used papertreyinks rectangular stamp , and the sentiment I can't remember as I made this card awhile back. I have been organizing my stamping area so I can see what supplies I have . Here is my card for this weeks challendge, I used my photo cornor punch and put both in the cornor with on white brad. Jumbo eyelets on the side with ribbon thru and tied in a bow. close to coco is 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 folded dp is by su I used my marvy purple punch to punch my scallop oval and the design is from papertrey inks digi spiral boquet digi paper from world card making day. I hope eveyone is having a a happy sat. My grandkids are in front of the tv, (all the boys) waiting there turn on my sons xbox 360. Issac is playing the game boy and seem perfectly content with that game. Destiny just got out of the shower and she is following her dad around. My third card is for Taylored expressions. All cardstock is stampin up and dp is su. I used my scalloped and circle punch and put a little cupcake on it. I popped the cupcake up. 2nd card is for notime to stamp and it is a very simple card. Xo cardstock is from mfts digi paper. I used my scalloped scissors on it.
The cake is stamped on the card stock and then i stamped on some textured paper and cut it out. card stock is su. First card is for my time and also a very simple card also. I used su dp and cornor punch and used blue brads on the photo punch. i bought some 1.oo stamps from micheals and used the butterfly out of it to stamp my image and then colored in with my glitter markers. Here are my cards for this Fridays sketch. I made them last nite. It has taken me most of the day to get them psoted as all my grand kids are here minus one. First card is for Fresh and fun, All card stock and dp are su. Brads are su and the cross sticker is from Hobby Lobby. I had some lace that I have had for ever and so I used some on this card. 2nd card is for caardvarks. My friend is going to have her first grand child and it is a girl. I saw this card on yalls wedsite and this is my version of it. I used lace for the coller and sleeves. Buttons down the front and its a girl sticker that I got at walmart last year. Paper is from mft's and it is her digital paper. Cardstock is from su. 3rd card is for I heart to stamp. All cardstock and dp are from su. The stamped flower is from looks like spring and i embellished with glitter. I used a yellow flower instead of a heart. I also used three white brads in the cornor on the bottom. I am cooking a big pot of speggetti and some mashed potatoes for supper. My 14 year old grandson he can eat. I sometimes think he has a bottomless leg. The weather is great so thy have been outside most of the day for excersice. Issac he cried because he wanted to stay in the house with me., but he went out to play. As always thanks for stopping by. My blood is boiling, I am so mad at my daughters that if either one of them walked threw my front door, I would kick their ass to kingdom come. My oldest daughter can not stay out of her siblings lifes, she doen't like their better halfs. She always trying to get them away from their partners. My youngset daughter had a baby isn July. she has been with her partner for 2 to 3 years. She just got a job at walmarts and she goes to jail last nite, because my oldest daughter hooks her up with her friends,I am thinking hum I know youngest daughter has a warrent for no dl and no insurance she got whne she was pregnant and never took care of. So now what if people she is with have drugs on them she gets busted for that. I can not will not raise another one of her kids, that is the reason why I have her other child to much partying. So on to the card for Laurens My Time sketch All cardstock is su stamped with simple sayings. I used basic black ink colored with my glitter markers I used bliss blue to go around the edges and make a sky. Buttons and ribbon are from walmart. I bought some heart nesting dies from Hobby Lobby. They are quick cuts. I used 3 dies in my sizzix and cut the Hearts and then Layered them down on top of each other. Ribbon is from micheals last year Valentines. Saying is su's stamp set Happy Heart day. 3rd card is I heart to Stamps Sat Sketch. All cardstock and dp is su's Stamps set is Delight in Life stamped in basic black colored with glitter markers from Oriental Trading. 4th card is for No Time to Stamps Friday sketch. All cardstock and dp is from su. Stamp set is from su and is sassy stems. I colored with glitter markers. Today went to Garland to Suzi's quilt shop, took my mother and we got our blocks of the months. One block is paper piecing. I have to do them as soon as I get them or I forget how we were shown to do them. Also we get a coupon from Garland Furniture to get a free candle. We go over there and they always have the cutiest Knick Knacks. so I put some in layaway and will get them out payday. The weather has benn great today. Nice and Sunny. Sunday is sper bowl and also my nephews 10th birthday. He is having a party so I will got to that and come home. My final card for this post is for Tyalored Expressions. All cardstock is su's. . This was a simple card. All cardstock is su. I used my Martha Stewart scalloped punch for the pink cardstock. I used my flower stickers I got somewhere. I do not remeber as it has been awhile. It is Sunday afternoon and I have been lazy today. Tomorrow is work and I am sure it will be busy there. My boss will be gone for 3 days to a seminar. Payday is Tuesday and she usually passes out the checks but since she will gone it falls in my lap. Damian goes back to school and he will have homework. He likes math but writing is a different story. He was diagnosed last april with Autism, He is not severe because he has been in speech since he was 3 and just really started talking in Jan of last year. He is becoming more social but he still lacks in that dept. I send him to daycare so he can get the social interaction. He will not play sports because the team will be together but he is on the other end of the field, so I gave up. Good evening. I have been making cards most of the evening. I slept to 11 am. I was tired I guess. Friday nite was my card club there was only 4 of us plus the demonstrator's but we had fun. I finally learn how to use the heat and stick powder and I used the new glitter from stampin up. I also got my 4 stamp sets that I ordered which I used for these cards. My first card uses

confetti white card stock and left over dp. I used the stamp set Blooming with Love. Sentiment is stampin up Tiny Talk. ribbon and Buttons are from Hobby Lobby. 2nd Card is for My Time. Confetti Whit cardstock and dp was used. Stamp set used is Big Birthday Candle. I also used my photo cornor punch and white eyelets for the cornor. Also chip board piece is from Walmart. ribbon is from targer Dollar spot. The little town I live in is getting a Super Target. I just read it in the paper. we already have a Walmart. We just need a craft store like micheals or Hobby Lobby and I would be set. #rd card is for NoTime to Stamp. I like her example so I cased it but made some changes I hope she dose not mind. I learned how to use my 3/16th cornor rounder to make the scallop border last nite. I thought is was neat. All cardstock is su and the stamp set I used is Always. I used my copic markers in most of my cards. I also used my gold marker for the dots. I distress the bottom of the 3rd card. I also have been cleaning the house and cooking supper. I gave alot of thought about this card. This will be a smypathy card. I bought last year at Micheals this pretty embossed flower paper. I think it might be wistera which I love the smell of those flowers. Reminds me of my childhood at my grandmothers. In her back yard she had a wistera bush. They have a cool selection I just can not take Damian he loves to shop. So I spend more money than I intend to. My friend Val has waited along time to be a grandma. Her son and daughter in law are finally making that wish come true. Yesterday she found out that they were going to have a girl. How lucky is she. She can but all those frilly little girl dresses black patten leather shoes with frilly socks ruffled panties so on and so forth. My children have boys 4 to be exact. I have one granddaughter and don't see her often as she lives aways from me and her parents are separeted. I made this card for her. Eveything except the white brads is from su, and they are making memories. I had this ideal in my head all day at work on how I wanted to do it, but it didn't turn out the way I wanted, so I started all over. Ever have moments like that? I had fun making this card. I cut the white cardstock in angles. When I went to put it together after I went around it with distress ink vintage tea dye from ranger. The fun begin because it became a puzzle that i had to fiqure out how it went back together. I then stamped the cardstock using old olive with stamp set stem silhouettes. Ribbon is from abc distributing that I got from their catalouge last year. I used a flower sticker for my image. I had bought the tag maker from Micheals with my 50% coupon. First time I used it. First Card is for No Time To Stamp's Friday sketch, It is first time I have participated in her sketch's. I used River rock cardstock, black cardstock to make the scallops and I had a piece of dp that I had gotten at Micheals last year that I wanted to use. I mounted my cardstock layer to that and used a flower bling I got at Target on clearance. I used stickers to spell out Happy Birthday. The second card is for I Heart To Stamps's Sat sketch. All cardstock is from su, please forgive I am not good with the cardstock names yet. The dp is from Micheals last year. I used my 5 petal flower punch from su and punched 4 times out of dp to layer and used a flower brad to mount on to my cardstock. I punched photo cornors out of pink cardstock and Micheals Dp and used in the cornors. On one side I used white brads from Hobby Lobby.On the top left hand cornor I used black eyelets. I sprayed Pearl Glimmer mist all over the card. Sentiment is from a birthday collect book I got at Micheals. One of my new years resolutions is to use what I have and try not to buy new paper. I am a paper collector. I am running out of room, so I need to use up what I have. I am going to post in my gallery on splitcoast and my name on splitcoast is Susan Denise. Well I hope every one is doing great to day this last day of 2007. I have been lazy for 3 days not doing much of nothing. My husband watched the cowboys lose to the redskins and I watched Discovery health channel. I got out my cricut machine and zooballon carthridge cut the giraffe and grass at 3 inches . The cake is from Gina K make a wish. It is colored with some glitter markers that I bought from oriental trading back in the summer. Used My Su scalloped punch to make the scalloped circle and sponged around it plus the card. Happy birthday ribbon is from oriental trading. I used liquid applique for the frosting on both cards. Some how the giraffe card posted twice. The second card is for My niece Krystens 15 th birthday Where has the time gone I remeber when she was just a baby. Oh that means I am getting older. I used Gina Ks make a wish happy birthday ribbon from oreintal trading colored with the glitter markers I got from oriental trading I really like those markers. I will have to reorder another box of those. The poka dot paper is from MFT digi paper. I also used liquid applique for the icing sponged around the card and flower bling is from Hobby Lobby. First card is for Laurens sat sketch. I like doing this one. The card didn't turn out the way I wanted. Ii have benn busy y todayt. It has benn in the 80's here. I got the yard mowed weed eated and cleaned up, while my husband was doing some repairs to the outside of the house. Tomorrow is when it starts to get cold here. So hopefully I will not have to mow until spring. We have and arce and half of land, so it can be a chore. We have a creek on our property so I always have to watch out for snakes. I havee found lots of rabbit nest to with cute little babies in them. On to the card Carstock is su. I used my circle punch and put a heart on it. I also used my sq scalloped punch for the inches. Well I am home today from work because Damian had a real bad asthma attack. We were on our way to school and he layed down in the back seat of the car and started crying because he couldn't breath So after 2 breathing treatments he seem to be breathing better. Here is my card for the caardvarks challendge. It is red su cardstock with basic gray paper in the cornors. The middle scallop sq is cut using my spell binders die. The flower is a rub on that I purchased thru sizzix and then I colored with my su markers. The butterflies and hearts I think I got a t walmart a long time ago. The white ribbon i got some time back and it probably came from Hancocks. it is cold and rainy here. This is a short week for me at work, I have a 4 day weekend. Will be hopefully get to do some shopping. DH will be fishing, like he needs more fish as it is, He already has a freezer full. He and my mom are the only ones here that eat fish, so I guess they will not be going hungry. Here is my version of the gift bag. I had a hard time with this one. Making stuff like this is a challendge for me. But I got it completed. The paper is from micheals and it is textured. My sisiter is the store manger at Micheals so this was on clearance and she bought me a whole box full of paper. I stamped the image in Whisper white su ink with the snow flake stamp that was in the winter mini. The decorations I got at Hobby Lobby some time ago. I sprinkled pink glitter on the ink while it was drying to give a sparkly effect. Enjoy Susan

Here is a very simple card that I just made. It will be used for someones birthday in my family for the coming year. I have a huge family. We all have lots of kids. I used wild wasabi cards stock from su, dp from micheals I bought a while back , I think is is K and Company. The the picture is 1.00 stamp from the dollar bin and so is the setiment from micheals. I used my blue sq punch from marvy and my pink rectangle punch from marvy. The coloring of the balloons is done by my grandson Damian. He loves to help me in any way he can. Hello, It has been a busy day today a t work and home. I started this card last nite and I was not sure of what I was going to do after I got the main piece on the cardstock. All card stock is from su. The main piece is ran thru my sizzix using a cuttlebug embossing folder and the embossed piece is a thin piece of metal. I used ranger inks metilliac pink and sponge all over it. I used my purple and pink scallop circle punches and stamped flowers on it and then I used some flower gems I got at Walmart for the flowers center. I used a sukura gel pen for the dots. Here is my card for both web sites Cps has a challendge for us to use die cuts on our cards and joy of stamping for glimmer mist. The white cardstock is from papertrye ink. Marvy large circle punch is for the sun and I got the die cuts from Micheals waves are made from my cuttlebug large embossing folder Divine swirls. Glimmer mist is iridescent Gold from Ep Sticlkes is waterfall from Ep. Sorry I have not fiqured out to link to yalls blogs and stores yet. I sprayed the gold glimemr mist on the sun and cardstock just to give it some shine because it just looked to plain to me. This card will eventually go to my Dh as he loves to fish any chance he can get. He has these big fish fries after a nite or weekend at the lake and all our family usually comes to our house to eat all the fish that he fries up in this big iron kettle on his grill outside. He says the fish taste better cooked outside than inside, and for me it is less messy and I don't have to clean it up. Enjoy the card. Susan

This will be the first time I have entered one of her weekend sketchs. She is very talented a lady. I read her blog everyday, I admire her work.I only hope to one day be as good as some of the people who design cards. I made this card out of bodering blue su cardstock 8.5 by 4.5 folded in half. The oval puch is a digi design from papertrey ink that I downloaded on world card making day along with the blue dotted paper Iused my photo punch fron su. The flowers are from papertreyyink and they are velvet. the brads are from su. I had my card club tonite and as always had a fun time laughing and making cards. Just getting to be around a bunch of ladies that have and enjoy the same hobby as I is so rewarding. We meet once a month on a Friday nite, just the couple hours away fro DH and DS is always good. DS is autistic and can be a little hard to handle at times. There is a friend that works with a autistic child that has been helpful with ideals and suggestions that might help. I learn so much new stuff everyday about autistim. Well enjoy the card and have a wonderful weekend. I started witha piece of navy cardstock cut by 81/2 by 41/2 folded in to. made a piece of dps with stamps from papertryink. Cut a piece of green cardstock added a piece of ribbon cut out a star used gold glitter put it on dimensinals and use a sticker for the sediment. So here it is.

There is a contest going on over at CPS. You can choose from 4 options, postcard, travel, Christmas in July and patriotic. So here is my take on the patriotic card. The patriotic card is 5.25 by 4.5 whsiper white card stock covered in 4th of july paper squares punched on white cardstock and 4th of july stamps used, white sq cardstock is mounted on red cardstock and outline with red gingham ribbon. Crystal stickles added for shimmer. You relly cant see the shimmer in the picture but its real pretty in person. Enjoy Susan

Today has been a day. My husband and nephew went to the lake and road around in the boat for awhile today. It is always so quite when he is not home. When they got back my nephew cooked supper for us and my husband father and my mom came down and ate. They are all gone. I got my quilt block finshed and nowI am ready to post the cards. Ihave been trying to do to this all day. My oldest daughter fell and broke her foot in 3 places last week end. She is able to get around some today. I am so glad today is Friday. Which means I can work on some cards to be posted later. I also quilt and I have my new block of the month kit I need to start. Yesterday at work I demostrated how to sew a pumkin on my sewing embrodiery machine. The residents loved it. I think the next demostration I have will BE making cards. I made this card awhile back for my friends birhtday . I for got the particulars. Her birthday is not until November but there is alot of birthdays and so I have to stay ahead. Thursday is my bosses last day at work. She heads off to anew job. we all have worked with her for 10 years. She is like our mother at work. i will miss her. Yesterday I went to the dentsit and had a root canel and 2 cavities filled. Today I took my grandson to the dentist,he had no cavities. i am glad. My grandsons are up and playing the game cube, Sean my oldest grandson is in from Houston visiting, he is 13. My 6 year old grandson who I have custody of has been recently diagnosed with Autism, so we are learning all about that disorder. He is also addhd. Grandkids are so much fun. We have 5 all together 4 boys and 1 girl. They are all suppose to be her later on today. The card is made with very vanilla cardstock brocade ble, stamped with my MFT Christmas stamps. ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, colered with spica glitter markers and prisma markers. Also use su snow flourishers for the background and on the blue brocade is ran thru my sizzix die cutter using my embossing plate snow flakes from provocraft. I think that is everything. We just got back from seeing the new baby. He has grown since he entered the world. He eats alot too it seems that he was always wanting to suck while we were visiting. yThey are going to a picnic on sunday so I will get to keep him. I am so excited will be taking alot of pictures also so I will post. I also will try to get some cards made so that I can post them for yall to look at.

Hi, I just want to interduce my self, My name is Susan and I live in a small town in Texas. I have been a stamper for maybe about 3 years. I have 4 children that are grown and work outside the home. I work in a nursing home. It is a vey awarding job even though I work in the office. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 33 years.
